Step 3: Giving user-friendly names to Web pages and setting content groups

Probably you want to see user-friendly, comprehensible names for your Web pages in reports delivered by HitLens. No doubt ‘Price quote’ is easier to follow than a technocratic prcqt.html. There is also a possibility you would like to organize related Web pages into content groups to know what exactly attracts attention of your visitors. Both user-friendly page names and content groups are easy to implement. Follow the instructions given next to the screenshots below:

(1) Create content groups names

1. Press Group Manager

2. Press New

3. Enter a content group name

4. Press Save

(2) Assign content groups to your Web pages

1. Click on a blank field in the Content Group column.
2. Select a content group associated with that page.

It is not required to assign content groups to all pages. Set a content group for a page when you feel you need it.
