After you have gone through all steps needed to enable traffic analysis for your website, you can press Apply. Should you do that, you will be taken to the overview of changes made to the tracking settings. There are two types of such changes:

  • Changes controlled by our Datacenter directly. Those are transactions, content groups and IP address filtering. To cut a long story short, these changes are not applied to your Web pages directly, that is the tracking code on your pages is not changed rather these changes are applied remotely to settings for your website stored on our Datacenter's servers. These changes take effect immediately after you press Apply so you needn't upload your Web page to the server or host.
  • Changes made to the tracking code. This type of changes is not controlled by the Datacenter. If you add/remove/update the tracking code to your Web pages, you MUST upload all modified files or changes in the tracking settings will not take effect.

The Overview of Changes window tells you which files must be uploaded and what else you should do to ensure you will get the correct statistics.

(1)  Changes to the tracking code of your Web pages were made. You need to upload specified files.
