Step 8: Advanced Settings

You can configure specific tracking options on the "Advanced Settings" tab of the Hitlens Activation Wizard. You will find the following sections:

  • Url Masks. The navigation between domain and subdomain or site folders is counted by HitLens as navigation from one site page to another. However, you can explicitly define URLs that should be considered parts of your site, and those to be tracked as external sites.
  • Path to webceo.js. Sometimes you don't have access to the root directory where the external script "webceo.js" should be located. Using this section, you can specify the path to the external script if it resides somewhere else.
  • Reset Stats. This button will reset your stats and start again from the word go.
