You can configure specific tracking options on the "Advanced Settings" tab of the Hitlens Activation Wizard. You will find the following sections:
Url Masks. The navigation between domain and subdomain or site folders is counted by HitLens as navigation from one site page to another. However, you can explicitly define URLs that should be considered parts of your site, and those to be tracked as external sites.
Path to webceo.js. Sometimes you don't have access to the root directory where the external script "webceo.js" should be located. Using this section, you can specify the path to the external script if it resides somewhere else.
Reset Stats. This button will reset your stats and start again from the word go.
(1) Url Masks
1. Press "Add URL mask".
2. Type the URL you want to exclude or include in your site in the "URL Mask" column.
3. Select "include" or "exclude" in the "Rule" column and press "Ok".
(2) Path to webceo.js
1. Type either a root-relative path or the full URL address that points to "webceo.js". Please note that you have to publish this file on your site first.
2. Press "Ok".
(3) Reset Stats
1. Press "Reset Stats".
2. Confirm your decision. Your database will be erased and the tracking will start over with a blank database. This will kill all reports collected over time, unless you've previously exported them and saved them somewhere.
