Website Monitoring

Q: I receive some emails from the program saying my website is not working, but my host provider says it is nothing wrong with the host. Why can it be?

A: You probably have enabled some checking that is not allowed by your host server. For example, you have turned on the host ping, but there is a firewall or something like that on your server that locks the host ping. So when our service is trying to ping your server and fails, you receive the alert message. Open the Services tab, uncheck the host ping service and press Apply. The host ping will be turned off, and you will not receive alert messages about it any more.

Make sure you enable only those monitoring services that you are sure your host provider allows.
