Privacy Statement for Customers Using the HitLens Traffic Analysis Service to Track Visitors to their Websites
Web CEO Ltd. is firmly committed to the privacy of customers and visitors to their websites. We are equally committed to the privacy of the data we collect for sites using the HitLensT service, and the visitors who frequent those sites. The following items disclose our information gathering and dissemination practices.
- Your Information is Secure. All the traffic analysis reports that we compile for your website and personal information collected is confidential. It is strictly connected with your user account and protected by passwords. You should keep the password confidential and only allow guest access to those whom you trust. On our part we have done all in our power to protect you with advanced security mechanisms such as firewalls and SSL encryption. These measures protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction.
- Web CEO Ltd. Has Limited Access to your Information. Web CEO Ltd. will not access, modify, or otherwise disclose the statistical information we compile for your site except for the express purpose of generating reports which have been authorized by you or otherwise agreed to by you, or unless acting under a good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (1) conform to legal requirements or comply with legal process; or (2) troubleshoot any service problems.
- Use of Cookies and other Data Collection Methods. A cookie is a small text file stored on your PC by a browser containing information that a website transfers to your hard disk drive for record-keeping purposes. Cookies are the cornerstone for any Web analytics solution tracking interaction of the browser and the website. The use of cookies is an industry standard, and many major websites use them to provide useful features for their customers. The cookie information does not include personal data.
Privacy Statement for Email Recipients
Web CEO is committed to keeping your email address confidential. We never sell, rent, lease our user email lists or otherwise disclose user email addresses to any third party. We will use our users’ e-mail addresses exclusively to communicate Web CEO information to them. We respect your attention and time so we limit the frequency of our mailings to a reasonable amount.
Web CEO administrative and service announcements
- Web CEO may automatically email administrative messages such as ‘thank you’ messages or welcome messages introducing users to the Web CEO product and services, responses to password recovery, password and email change requests, and similar explanatory messages that are necessary for user guidance. Users cannot opt-out from these emails.
- Web CEO may email you service announcements such as day and time of expected interruptions of services, change of prices or service specifications. These emails have no opt-out status either.
Web CEO site monitoring alerts and reports

Web CEO users can subscribe themselves and the third parties involved (a) to the alerts and (b) weekly reports emailed by the site monitoring service. The alert emails cannot be opt-out while users remain subscribed, whereas recipients of the weekly site monitoring reports can get unsubscribed using the link at the bottom of the report page.
Web CEO Newsletter and marketing communications
- Web CEO may send a biweekly newsletter to Web CEO users and webceo.com visitors who have subscribed to receive them. The Web CEO users opt in and opt out using the Subscription Center inside Web CEO (Main menu -> Help -> Manage your subscriptions). The site visitors go through a double opt-in subscription procedure. Every newsletter includes an opt-out link at the bottom of the page.
- Web CEO may email messages commercial in nature such as product updates and special offers. However such messages are sent only to its users and customers, and never to any third parties. Similar to the newsletter, the marketing communications are managed from the Subscription Center inside Web CEO (Main menu -> Help -> Manage your subscriptions). Upon receipt of a first special offer or product update, users can also opt out of future emailings by clicking on an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the message page.

Security measures
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Such measures include regular security reviews, upgrades, and backups.

We offer no assurance of uninterrupted or error free service, nor does Web CEO Ltd. warrants the accuracy or completeness of any service.
In no event shall Web CEO Ltd. be held liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of profits, business interruption, loss of information) arising out of the use or inability to use the program or any other service, even if Web CEO Ltd. has been advised of such damages.
