What's New in Web CEO 5.5

Several months of hard work (and several thousand man-hours) resulted in a more than 100 fixes and improvements. The most important of them are listed below.

General Enhancements

• Scheduler. Now there is no need to sit in front of your computer and wait till Ranker will finish to check 20 keywords in 20 SEs. Scheduler lets you run the boring tasks (such as rank checking) at a scheduled time, giving you more time to devote to the creative side of search engine optimization and marketing.
• Improved Reporting. Freely choose reports styles and formats (CSV available now!)
• Easier Project Management. Drag and drop your projects from one folder to another. When any tool starts, you are offered to select the project - this makes easier to work simultaneously with many projects.
• Updated QuickLaunch window. New elements added: Settings, Scheduler, and Account. QuickLaunch always shows when other dialogs and tools are closed.

New in Keyword Research

• PageRank Analysis. Even though importance of PageRank is often overemphasized, it is still one of the key ranking factors for Google. Now you can see PageRank of your competitors when viewing Google results. The "Analyze Competition" tab now also features PageRank.
• Advanced Search for Competitors. Now you can perform more efficient search for competitors by having an "Exact Search" option.
• Load Your Keywords From File/Clipboard. Now you can add keywords (for further analysis) from a file or clipboard. A nice tool if you have a ready set of keywords or if you would like to analyze your competitor's strengths and weaknesses.

New in Optimization

• A Lot of Bugfixes and Repairs ensure error-free SEO experience. Now the tool recognizes scripts in the BODY; standard logo is not shown in reports of the Professional Edition; reports show shorter URLs (the part after the last slash), and more.

New in Editor

• New WYSIWYG-editing core. Enjoy even better results in a more convenient way. A new editing core will take care of it.
• Improved Support for Even More Languages. Having introduced the recognition mechanism for UTF-8 and Unicode, the Editor tool seamlessly supports even more languages.

New in Submission

• Improved Interface. The sleek interface of Web CEO got even better. Now even a child can easily submit their site to 120+ automatic and 50+ manual submission search engines (yes, there are even more now!)
• Faster. The submission process became faster with enhanced submission paralleling.
• Automatically Load Meta Tags From Pages. Don't waste your time hand-typing site descriptions. Now Meta tags are extracted even from UTF-8 and Unicode pages

New in Links

• Analysis of inbound link text. This is a big one. Having inbound links with your keywords in the link text is arguably the most important factor for your rankings (at least with Google). With Web CEO 5.5, you can check the link text of all the pages referring to you. Then you can ask webmasters of that sites to change the link text (this won't be a problem since they're already linking to you) and watch your rankings grow.

• "Speed Test" Tab. Test file download speed (bytes per second) over HTTP from servers located in USA and UK, and from a local PC.
