Graceful\nTouch provides clients with muscle therapy, pain relief, increased mobility,\nand body relaxation using the art of massage. Graceful Touch is owned and\noperated by Guy and Irene Siverson<\/a>.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n We decided\nto ask Guy about the challenges he faced while working on this new business, in\nlight of his previous burnout as a marketer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie\nCampbell: <\/strong>We are\nhappy to know that your business is flourishing with the WebCEO marketing\nplatform. How long have you been doing SEO?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy\nSiverson: <\/strong>In 2013,\nmy previous business ViralTNTeam launched. It had amazing success. To gain\nclients we used Elance until this system was merged with ODesk and became\nUpWorks. Suddenly I had a severe client attainment issue that would be the end\nof ViralTNTeam. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>What was the problem?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>Part of the problem was my inability\nto find clients while also navigating all the online marketing activities\nincluding SEO, Social Media, Videos and more. I just couldn\u2019t maintain\neverything in a healthy way. All the stress of my failing business found me\nwith a BP of 200\/100. Not good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>That is really not good. How did you\nreturn to the business? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>After writing a lot about massage therapy on Quora, in November 2018 my wife and I opened Graceful Touch: Rapid City massage therapy<\/strong><\/a>. I had a website, but I wasn\u2019t going to do SEO for it. Fortunately, a friend convinced me otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>But why didn\u2019t you want to optimize\nyour website and gain new customers?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>I had no interest in doing SEO or\nweb marketing because of the nightmare that had become my life back in the days\nof the previous business. As I turned up the marketing efforts for Graceful\nTouch, it wasn\u2019t long before I was once again inundated with multiple tasks\nfrom every direction. The stress of my digital marketing days was beginning to\nrise again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>Did you try some other SEO tools?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy:<\/strong> I\u2019ve worked with tons of different\ntools and resources in my day. Tools like Majestic, Ahrefs, MOZ; there are\nothers. Turns out they\nfound us on Google. Thanks, WebCEO. $450 later the deed was done \u2013 not bad for\nmy day off!<\/p>\n\n\n\n That was\nfollowed by another $150 purchase from someone else that found me at the top of\nthe results. We get these calls all the time now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>Seems like there\u2019s been a growth of\ntraffic to your website. Did you notice something unusual in any of the reports?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>Perhaps you mean this WebCEO report:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The red\nline is mine. Even though we are the newest kid on the block, we are killing\nthe competitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>Wow! Seems like you are really on\ntop! These results wouldn\u2019t have happened if there was no hard work done. What\nSEO tools were a must for you in the beginning?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>In the world of digital marketing,\nevery day there is a new keyword to target. However, with WebCEO, I was easily\nable to target a specific landing page. <\/p>\n\n\n\n For example, I very much want to take all the traffic from my area when it comes to \u201cnearby couples massage near me<\/strong><\/a>\u201d type keywords.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Thanks to\nbeing able to keyword traffic to specific landing pages, I am getting into\npositions on Google everywhere. This is leading to increased phone calls like\nthe one we received yesterday from a couple that wanted a massage. That\u2019s an\nadditional $175 for Graceful Touch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>What are your Top 3 WebCEO\nresources? <\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>I could speak about all the amazing tools\nwhich have brought me to a site optimization of 83%. This is not perfect but\nyet I am getting wonderful rankings on Google thanks to its ability to guide me\nin fixing things internal to my website. <\/p>\n\n\n\n However, if\nI were to pick the thing I love most, it would be the integration of the task\nlist for me to understand what needs to get done and what doesn\u2019t. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Another tool I really like from WebCEO is the Web Buzz Monitoring system<\/a>. I have yet to utilize it to its fullest capability. But the way that WebCEO allows you to interface with Facebook and other social media platforms is excellent. I plan to get more involved in this area as time marches by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>A professional tip: how often do you\nrecommend SEO & technical audits? How often do you usually schedule\nreports?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>I schedule automatic scanning and reporting twice a month, so I have enough time to check issues and fix them. I use the same scanning and reporting schedule for Rank Tracker<\/a>, Backlink Checker<\/a>, Web Buzz Monitoring tool and many other tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>What SEO task is the most\nchallenging for you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>One of the hardest things for me to\ndo is build backlinks. However, that has now become a non-issue with the competitor\nspy tools that produce these types of results:<\/p>\n\n\n\n At first, I\nwasn\u2019t sure what all those different columns meant. But the WebCEO Support\nAngels walked with me step by step until I understood everything they are\nbringing to this table for my success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Sophie: <\/strong>Other SEO tools were helpful too,\nweren\u2019t they?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Guy: <\/strong>Other tools give stats.
